Straight Letters - Camilla Løw

In 2005 the Pier Arts Centre was able to acquire a work by Camilla Løw for its collection through its participation in the National Collecting Scheme for Scotland.  

The human scale, the economy of means and the use of colour in Løw’s work link her sculpture directly to many of the works in the Pier Arts Centre Collection. This exhibition, which was shown at Dundee Contemporary Art earlier this year, will provide an opportunity to see further work by the artist against the backdrop of the Collection.

Camilla Løw is a rising star of British and Scandinavian art.  She was recently awarded the Statoil Grant Prize for contemporary art in Norway and has work in many public collections across museums in the North.
