The Pier Arts Centre, Stromness, Orkney is seeking an experienced team of consultants to develop and deliver a Feasibility Study and Business Case that advances a potential new arm of operation in discrete premises requiring re-development, that will provide new opportunities for artists, learners, audiences and the broader community of Orkney, whilst sustaining the Centre’s core mission and contributing to its long-term success and sustainability.
Budget: £30,000 plus £4,000 expenses (inclusive of VAT).
Expected timescale: six months.

Scotgrad Summer Placement - Market Research
The Pier Arts Centre, Stromness, Orkney have an exciting opportunity for a student with outstanding research skills to deliver a 12 week Market Research project. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking market research, identifying any gaps in the current provision and developing new products and services.
The post is open to all current HNC, HND and undergraduate degree students who will return to their studies after the summer. All candidates will be considered provided they have the required skills.
The preferred start date is 19th June 2017 however this is flexible and depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
