Fee: £70

A full day workshop to encourage recreating an Orkney Landscape through memory of place. Painting exercises and activities will be delivered by Laura to help you create a portfolio of landscape inspired artworks. During the workshop there will be a focus on shape, line, colour and pattern – all relating to the local landscape. The outcome will be a selection of abstract artworks inspired by Orkney.

Drawing & Painting activities include:

• Landscape weaving

• Landscape jigsaws

• Hill Stencils

• Still life

Participants to bring

Any natural object(s) found in Orkney (example – shell, seaweed, stones)

A pinny or overalls

Lunch and refreshments will be provided

As parking is restricted at Linkshouse, we will be co-odinating transport.
