private view - a collection of self portraits
Similar to most people's houses I suspect, there are spaces in mine in an unfinished state. In this drawing I am portrayed in my undercoated bathroom seated in a contemplative mood.
Looking into the mirror, which rests upon a shelf, I perceive my reflection, surrounded by the drawing covered plaster on the wall behind.
The bathroom is a quiet, private thinking space...here the images on the wall appear as a temporal aura extending beyond the head. These drawings relate to current sculptural developments. The situation being as such, I invariably see and add to them on a regular, daily basis.
