Over the course of the academic year, senior pupils at Stromness Academy and Kirkwall Grammar School prepare folios which are assessed by Qualifications Scotland providing them with National 5, Higher, Higher Photography and Advanced Higher awards.

This display of selected works gives a small insight into the time and effort that pupils commit, both in and out of school to producing work of the highest quality. It also reflects the support and guidance that they receive from the teaching staff at both schools.
