Experimental artists Daniel O’Dempsey and James Alexander McKenzie are in Orkney until the end of October, participating in the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Residencies for Scotland 2019 programme, with host gallery the Pier Arts Centre.
Daniel, from Liverpool and James from Edinburgh are an energetic partnership that work with a multitude of mediums encompassing performance, painting, poetry, sculpture and music.
The Private View of Act 3 of their piece Fenris Wolf and Ragnar Thorfinn is at WASPS Studios, Stromness on Saturday 26 October at 6pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. The final act of the project takes the form of an exhibition, showcasing the work the artists have created during the residency in Orkney.
The exhibition will be open at WASPS Studios Stromness, 10-5, Sunday 27, Monday 28 & Tuesday 29 October. Admission is Free
