In this session, led by Orkney artist Cassia Dodman, Piergroup members will construct a landscape of shape and colour inspired by the paintings of Bet Low - using a range of materials with different colours and textures to build an abstract landscape artwork.
Materials will be provided but please feel free to bring along and collage material you might like to use (paper, colourful plastic bag, unwanted item of clothing etc)
New members welcome!
Please email kari.adams@pierartscentre.com for further information or if you are interested in getting involved.
Piergroup is our young people’s collective for 16-26 year olds. Maintaining a relationship with senior students at local schools and artists emerging from Scottish and other Art Schools is a key part of the Piergroup philosophy.
Getting to the Pier Arts Centre:
You can catch the X1 bus from the Kirkwall Travel Centre (Stand 2) @18.56
