There will be an afternoon of activities focusing on our exhibition The Rock Cycle (Yamaguchi) as part of the Orkney International Science Festival 2022

Ilana Halperin: The Rock Cycle (Yamaguchi) is a cross-disciplinary project connecting Yamaguchi, in Japan, and Orkney, curated by Naoko Mabon and including new works by Ilana Halperin alongside work by Yoshihisa Nakano and Keijiro Suzuki

2 pm artist Ilana Halperin will give a performative talk and Orkney geologist Dr John Flett Brown will describe the making of the rocks of Orkney

3 pm exhibition tour with the artists and Curator Naoko Mabon

4 pm Keijiro Suzuki will give a workshop looking at the wind

Admission is £10 and spaces are limited so booking is essential through the Orkney International Science Festival website
