Crochet & Chatter at the Pier Arts Centre

Join Orkney based artist Caitlin Brodie for these informal crochet drop-in sessions. If you have an existing project, please feel free to bring it along to work on in the sessions.

Some materials will be available but if you have any, please bring your own.

Where: The Pier Arts Centre

Who: Suitable for anyone interested in chatting with Caitlin to learn about her process with a basic level of crochet or knitting skills.

Primary school aged participants must be accompanied by an adult.

NB these session is not suitable for children under 8 years old.

Caitlin is one of twelve artists included in the Pier Arts Centre’s current exhibition Gen-erate - Orkney’s recent art graduates. Her work involves many mediums including drawing, sewing, crochet, embroidery, collage, and sculpture. Graduating from UHI Orkney in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art, Caitlin won the Pier Arts Centre Art & Design Student of the Year award.
