This display includes work from the Pier Art Centre’s Collection by the pioneering Orcadian film-maker and poet Margaret Tait (1918-1999), alongside works by Katy Dove (1970-2015), and a recent commission by Rosalind Nashashibi (b. 1973).

The exhibition includes a selection of illustrations from the long-running poetry and prose magazine Ambit, alongside drawings for stories by George Mackay Brown, including Northern Lights and the cover design for Beside the Ocean of Time.
